With the same MC2 suspension but with a Tare Weight 500kg under the current TVan Murranji the Desert Eagle is one of the most capable off-road camper trailers Track has manufactured. This Desert Eagle has massive storage space, a 70 litre onboard water tank with both an internal and external pump, and can carry a further 3x 20 litre jerry cans for water or fuel. It has an onboard battery, LED lights in most compartments, both interior and exterior gas connections for the gas cooktop/grill (rarely used), the trailer still has the original (full) primus gas bottle from the day it came off the showroom floor.
Setup time for 1 person is just over 8 minutes (without rushing) and a further 5 minutes to attach the awning. Packup times are similar although the awning does not need to be removed to pack up.
The original offroad hitch has been replaced with the current DO35 Cruisemaster (includes Tow Pin for vehicle).
The tyres, brake pads, bearings etc are good.
The canvas is in reasonable to good condition and comes with both end walls for the awning, one of which can be zip-attached over the external kitchen area for additional shade or shelter.
Other than when camping, this trailer has been garaged its entire life.
Overall the trailer is in good condition.
The camper is located at Gympie (Qld) and is available for inspection, both road-ready and fully setup.
